At Medic Mentor, we believe that investing in the future of our doctors is crucial. That’s why we’re proud to offer our Medical Leadership Programme completely free of charge to secondary school students that are enrolled onto the Silver, Gold or Platinum Pathways. We understand that pursuing a career in medicine is already challenging enough, and financial barriers should never hold students back from achieving their dreams. We fund the programme ourselves because we believe that investing in the future of medicine is investing in the future of our society. By offering students the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and other essential qualities, we’re helping to ensure that our future healthcare system will be led by the best and brightest minds. So if you’re an aspiring doctor, we invite you to join us on this exciting journey and take advantage of this unique opportunity to develop your skills and achieve your dreams.

School Ambassadors is the term we use to refer to the students on the Medical Leadership Programme.  These incredible students are individuals who have taken a step towards shaping the future of the medical profession. They are inspiring leaders who work passionately to empower and motivate other aspiring medics within their schools. As School Ambassadors, they play a critical role in creating awareness by providing guidance and help to other students on how to make use of the supportive network and resources at Medic Mentor.  In doing this they can encourage colleagues at schools to explore healthcare careers. Through their hard work, dedication, and passion, they inspire the next generation of medical professionals to follow in their footsteps and make a positive impact in their communities. These school ambassadors demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities and serve as shining examples of what it means to be a compassionate and skilled medical professional. Their efforts in shaping the medical profession, inspiring others and growing themselves both personally and professionally, are truly remarkable and deserve recognition and praise.

You must be enrolled onto the Silver, Gold or Platinum Pathway’s in order to apply.

Previous experience in medicine or healthcare is not required, but applicants should have a strong academic record and demonstrate leadership skills, teamwork, and a desire to learn and grow.

We understand that the prospect of applying for the medical leadership programme can be daunting, especially considering the fact that we can only offer three places per school. However, we want to emphasise that this competitive aspect is not a measure of your worth or potential as a future medical leader. Rather, it simply speaks to the high level of interest in the programme and the limited number of spots available. We encourage you to view this as an opportunity to showcase your unique talents, skills, and passion for medicine. The programme is designed to support and empower students to become future leaders in healthcare, and we are committed to helping you achieve your goals. So, while the competition may be tough, we want you to know that we believe in you and your potential to make a real difference in the field of medicine. Take a chance, apply with confidence, and let your passion for medicine shine through.
