If you’ve unfortunately found yourself without any medical school offers by this stage, UCAS Extra is a free service, open between 26 February and 4 July which allows you to continue applying to university courses for September 2025.

If you have received decisions from all five choices (4 Medical Schools and 1 Non Med), and weren’t accepted or if you declined the offers you received, you will be able to use Extra. If you use Extra to add another choice you cannot reverse this to go back to your original five choices. Should you find yourself without any offers post-July 5th, you can supplement your choices using Clearing.
